The Sweden-based freight technology company said the deployment, beginning in September 2026, would support customers such as Amazon across ‌freight corridors in ⁠California, Texas, New Jersey, Illinois and Georgia, tripling its electric truck fleet. • The ⁠rollout, which will be financed through third-party solutions, would be completed in phases through 2028.

• Einride ​said its ​AI-based monitoring system ​has logged more than ‌19 million electric miles globally in seven years of commercial operations, offering electric and autonomous freight services. • The deployment supports Einride's efforts to convert about $800 million in potential long-term annual recurring revenue ‌into active freight capacity, it ​added. • CEO Roozbeh Charli said ​the deployment shows ​the company can scale operations to ‌meet customer demand and ​reflects the growing ​adoption of electric freight technology.

• Tesla's director of semi-truck Dan Priestley said electric trucks ​can lower operating ‌costs through fuel savings, reduced maintenance and ​improved uptime.
