The Sweden-based freight technology company said the deployment, beginning in September 2026, would support customers such as Amazon across freight corridors in California, Texas, New Jersey, Illinois and Georgia, tripling its electric truck fleet. • The rollout, which will be financed through third-party solutions, would be completed in phases through 2028.
• Einride said its AI-based monitoring system has logged more than 19 million electric miles globally in seven years of commercial operations, offering electric and autonomous freight services. • The deployment supports Einride's efforts to convert about $800 million in potential long-term annual recurring revenue into active freight capacity, it added. • CEO Roozbeh Charli said the deployment shows the company can scale operations to meet customer demand and reflects the growing adoption of electric freight technology.
• Tesla's director of semi-truck Dan Priestley said electric trucks can lower operating costs through fuel savings, reduced maintenance and improved uptime.
