S. ( see our full methodology here ).
Safest banks in the U. S. While no bank is entirely risk-free, some are better positioned than others to weather economic downturns and protect customer data.
Here's a closer look at the banks that scored highest in our analysis and the factors that helped them earn a spot on our list of the safest banks in the U. S. 1.
Chase Bank Chase Bank is the largest national bank in the U. S. by asset size.
It operates more than 5,000 branches and 15,000 ATMs nationwide and offers a wide range of products, including deposit accounts, credit cards, home and auto loans, and business and commercial banking products.
